✅ Waterproof option
**Neutral Silicone Weatherproof Sealant / Neutral Silicone Mildew-Resistant Sealant**
- Once cured, it becomes a rubbery elastomer, **waterproof**, with excellent sealing capability
- Mildew-resistant version: for kitchen and bathroom sinks, toilets, shower rooms, and humid environments, **waterproof & mildew-proof**
- Weatherproof version: for doors, windows, exterior walls, and polycarbonate panels; suitable for outdoor waterproofing, rain resistance, and UV protection
❌ Not suitable for waterproofing
1. **Acidic Silicone Sealant (fast-drying window sealant)**
It can block water temporarily after curing, but **prone to mold, shrinkage, and poor adhesion**. Not recommended for long-term humid areas like kitchens and bathrooms; it's corrosive, so avoid using on metal or stone.
2. **Regular Non-Weatherproof Silicone Sealant**
Fine for dry indoor spots, but outdoors under sun and rain, it will age and crack, slowly leading to leaks.
